As a family member or friend of a donor or donor-in-spirit, you have been through a unique experience. On Sunday, December 13, we are hosting a virtual meet-and-greet for family and friends to come together and connect through conversation. We invite you to prepare coffee, tea, juice, or whatever your favorite beverage is to have ready to enjoy while we chat and share. There will not be a formal workshop or presentation, as this event is intended to be a connecting experience. Members of The LLF aftercare team will be available to help answer questions about the program and facilitate conversation.
Please RSVP by 12/11/20.
A Zoom link and password will be sent out at least 24 hours before this event begins
For questions, please contact a member of our aftercare team at griefsupport@thellf.org or 410.242.7000 ext 1147.
Please note that group setting situations like workshops offered by The LLF are both educational and supportive in nature. While they are good opportunities for individuals to share certain experiences and feelings, if you are struggling with particularly difficult emotions that are regularly affecting your sense of wellbeing and need help processing some of the more sensitive details of your loss, it is recommended that you schedule an individual counseling session prior to this event to see if a group event such as this would be appropriate for where you’re at in your grief journey.
As a reminder, these conversations are not intended for emergency situations or to diagnose or treat mental health crises. If at any point you feel as though you’re experiencing a mental health or addiction crisis, please contact the suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
